AOM™ Policy Badges – Trademark Notice
The AOM™ name, the term “Agent Object Model™”, and any related word marks or
design marks may also be protected. Registration has been applied for; the marks are not yet registered.
The badge graphics in this directory (including “No Automation”, “AOM™ Ready”,
and “AOM™ Open” icons) are licensed under CC0 1.0 Universal (Public Domain
Dedication). You may:
- Use the badges freely on your websites, apps, and documentation.
- Copy, modify, and redistribute the badges.
- Use the badges in commercial or non-commercial projects.
However, using these badges does not grant you any rights in the AOM name or
any AOM trademarks.
Acceptable use
You may describe your integration or usage as, for example:
- “Supports AOM policy badges”
- “Compatible with the Agent Object Model (AOM)”
- “Uses AOM-style automation policy indicators”
These are descriptive, compatibility-focused statements.
Prohibited use
Please do not:
- Claim or imply that your product, service, or organization is
“officially certified”, “officially approved”, or “officially partnered”
with AOM or the Agent Object Model project without a separate written
agreement.
- Use the badges or the AOM name in a way that is misleading, deceptive,
or suggests sponsorship or endorsement where none exists.
- Modify the badges in a way that misrepresents the underlying meaning
of the automation policy (for example, using the “No Automation” badge
to indicate the opposite).
If you are unsure whether your intended use is acceptable, treat your usage as
“compatible with AOM” rather than “officially endorsed by AOM”.
